De plus, la municipalité doit répondre à de nombreux défis : améliorer la fluidité des déplacements, verdir le tissu urbain, contrôler les possibles contestations ou encore prévenir des attentats. Cette tendance s’accélère ces dernières années avec l’organisation d’événements mondiaux comme les Jeux Olympiques. La série cherche à regarder cette ville dans laquelle je suis né et j’ai grandi avec un regard contemporain. Paris, en tant que siège du pouvoir central du pays, est décrite à rebours de la carte postale d’où émane une tension particulière, visible dans ces images du quotidien. Dans ce paysage urbain en transition, la ville devient un entre-deux, entre idéal républicain et renoncement sécuritaires, où chaque contestation s’accompagne d’une répression, symbolique ou réelle, toujours plus grande. Par ce projet au long cours, je cherche à renouveler la représentation de Paris, ville cent fois photographiée, avec une vision personnelle, politique et documentaire. During his lifetime, Albert Kahn (1860-1940) commissioned the operators Auguste Léon and Roger Dumas to take colour photographs of the gardens at every season. The objective of reducing contact between people requires physical distancing and a strict protocol to limit infections. It is materialized here by washing and disinfecting the photographic film with bleach. This solution burns and alters the images and creates blurred vision by adding a fluid that is reminiscent of micro-organisms such as bacteria and germs. Under this layer, the anguish of disease transmission gradually destroys the image itself, disappearing under a veil. &gt; (FR) Transmissions est une recherche visuelle explorant les réflexes phobiques liés aux propagation de maladies dans un monde toujours plus uniforme et standardisé. La réduction des contacts entre les personnes impose une distanciation physique et un protocole strict pour limiter les infections. Ces gestes barrières se matérialisent ici par un lessivage et une désinfection de la pellicule photographique à l’eau de javel. Cette solution brule et altère les images et crée un trouble de la vision en rajoutant un fluide qui rappelle des micro-organismes comme des bactéries et des microbes.
